I am neither an Antique dealer, nor do I have a gallery. My work as a private curator is a hobby that has grown over many years. Many people that I have helped to find pieces of Asian Art for their collections as well as people who have just seen my collection and became interested have repeatedly asked me: Do you have a website? Now, finally, the answer is: yes. When I lived in Thailand, I was very fortunate to have many friends who have important collections of Asian Art. Thus I was able to gather knowledge about Thai, Lao, Khmer and Burmese Art through direct access to thousands of collector’s items. My expertise, therefore, comes from „hands on“ experience, not from looking at pictures, reading books and looking at museum pieces behind glass. To determine not only the style of an art object, but also its authenticity, is something that you can only learn from having held hundreds or thousands of pieces in your hands, including fakes and having talked to experts and the most skilled artists who create reproductions. I do have this expertise especially for Thai, Lao, Khmer and Burmese Art. To make room for new acquisitions I also sell selected pieces of my private collection. I personally guarantee for the authenticity of every piece that I locate for you. Since I don’t have a gallery, there are no overhead expenses for my clients.
